Consumer health data privacy policy
Last updated October 29, 2026. This policy covers the health-related information Daphne handles and how to use your rights under Washington's My Health My Data Act, Nevada's consumer health data law and similar laws. Daphne is operated by Dowling Development LLC, an Alabama limited liability company.
What Daphne collects
- Food allergies you add for yourself or the people you feed, including any you type in.
- Ways of eating and foods you leave out (like lower sodium, gluten or dairy), because they can hint at a health condition.
Where it comes from
From you, when you set up or change your preferences. Daphne doesn't buy it or get it from anyone else.
Why Daphne uses it
To keep products and recipes with your allergens off your list, to understand what you add and save, and to write cooking steps that leave them out. It's never used for ads or marketing and never sold.
Who it's shared with
- Anthropic, PBC, which processes it for Daphne to read what you add, read recipes you save and write cooking steps, and only after you agree. Anthropic doesn't use it to train its models.
- Cloudflare, Inc., which stores it for Daphne.
Both may use it only to provide their service to Daphne. People you invite with Shop together don't see which allergies you've added. Daphne never sells health data.
Your rights
- Ask whether Daphne collects, shares or sells your health data, and get a copy along with a list of everyone it was shared with and how to reach them.
- Delete it: remove an allergy in your profile, or delete your account. Backup copies are gone within 30 days.
- Withdraw your consent: turn off AI in your profile, or email us.
- Daphne won't treat you differently for using these rights, and it's free.
